Terms of use
- SmogPrep sells access to original practice questions for the California Smog Check Inspector and Repair Technician license exams.
- SmogPrep is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSI Services LLC or the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. The practice questions are not actual exam questions.
- Using SmogPrep does not guarantee that you will pass any exam or receive a license. Always check official requirements with BAR and PSI.
- A purchase gives one person access for 90 days from the purchase date. Access is personal: don't share your account or copy, resell or republish the questions.
- Payments are one-time charges processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
- We may suspend accounts that share access or copy content.
Refund policy
If you're not satisfied, email us within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. After a refund, access to that exam ends.
Privacy
- Account: we store your email address and sign-in method through Google Firebase Authentication.
- Payments: Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your card number. Stripe keeps a record of your purchase, which we use to give you access.
- Practice progress: missed questions and unfinished exams are saved only in your own browser.
- We don't sell your information. We use it only to provide access, support and receipts.
- To delete your account, email support@smogprep.com.
